It is not unusual for localized hematomas to spontaneously drain through the vagina or suture line. This usually occurs a week or greater after surgery as being the hematomas liquefy. The blood characteristically seems dark and previous, and isn't accompanied by clots. Though frightening for the affected individual, no treatment is indicated.Piscea
